Dr. Vishal Sharma

Dr. Vishal Sharma is a clinician and storyteller devoted to the first and most sacred act of life: the breath.

Through the integration of science and spirit, he restores connection to what modern life has forgotten – the rhythm of calm, the balance of the body, and the courage to raise a generation that breathes with intention.

“The breath is our first medicine, our oldest teacher, and our quiet rebellion against a culture that rewards chaos.”

My mission is to protect the breath.

Breathing is woven into how we sleep, function and develop.

In growing children, the relationship between nasal breathing, oral function, jaw development and the airway can offer important clues about the way the craniofacial complex is developing.

Through more than fifteen years in orthodontics and airway-focused care, I began to see the mouth as more than structure alone. My questions expanded beyond alignment: How does this child breathe? How do they sleep? How is the jaw developing? Where does the tongue rest? What might the patterns I see clinically be telling us about the whole person?

Because sometimes the most important part of an orthodontic assessment isn't simply where the teeth are. It's understanding the conditions in which a child is growing.

Free Resource
for Parents

Protect Your Child’s Breath from the Very Beginning.

The way a child breathes can be an important part of the wider picture of sleep, oral function and craniofacial development.

Dr. Vishal Sharma created this free parent resource to help families recognise common signs of mouth breathing, understand what they may be observing, and know when a closer professional assessment may be worth considering.

Because early awareness can lead to better questions, and better questions can lead to more informed care.
